OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

For many years we have been working with a holistic view and increasingly awarness on actions that minimize the impact that our activities have on the environment.

We put into practice measures that contribute to preventing, stopping and reversing the degradation of our ecosystem and we do it together with our guests, teams, suppliers and collaborators.

OUR COMMITMENT TO MALLORCA

Fully committed to the environment, we promote awareness of sustainability through social and cultural actions.

Proud to participate in educational projects and preservation of the Mediterranean coasts and the land of the Balearic Islands (for example Almas Marinas and Mallorca Preservation) and for supporting charities and projects for the community through job placement for people with disabilities or for children suffering abuses (among others; RANA, Amadip, Mallorca Integra).

We believe in faithful and long lasting relationships. For this reason, we have been working with our local suppliers for many years. Based on trust and respect, we continue to grow and learn together, always promoting local products as much as possible.

In the same way, we support culture, sports and the values of the community, participating and collaborating in events that go hand in hand with our philosophy of sustainability and responsibility.

We love to make people happy.

The happiness of our guests is vital to us and this can only be achieved through a dedicated, passionate and motivated team.

We have a permanent team and a high average of years in the company.

The team receives continuous training, employment decisions are made through staff committees, and job opportunities are always offered through internal promotion.

The team is involved in work that generates a team culture and recognition of objectives during the annual trip abroad offered to all employees. We are all part of the same family and we have equality and non-discrimination policies, having an equality mailbox available to all employees.

Health and well-being is fundamental and for this reason all employees are offered an annual medical check-up, the opportunity for an annual gym membership and a healthy and balanced daily diet.

ESPLÉNDIDO

CIRCULARITY PLANS

With our non-conformist philosophy of continuing to return to Mallorca what nature has given us, we are already working to incorporate technologies that make us more efficient in the production of clean energy such as aerothermal and photovoltaic.

Actions taken at ESPLÉNDIDO since its opening in 2005:

Oil boilers are replaced by aerothermics
9 bathrooms are renovated and in all of them a bathtub is replaced by a shower.
An automatic glass door was installed on the 5th floor.
20% of the beds are changed to a lifting system.
The laundry is extended by adding ironing facilities to wash sheets and towels.

Introduce local and homemade attentions in room coverage
2 hybrid company cars charged daily on our chargers
Replaced petrol gardening equipment with batteries (lawnmowers, chainsaws and leaf blowers)
